Chapter 11 Reaction
In chapter 11 is was mostly talking about how he was going to escape. When he finally escaped I felt happy for him because all those years he was a slave and now he was free. As he was free and in New York he was homeless and had no food. That was sad to hear because all that work he did to be free and now he isn't living that well. After that he met a guy who was Mr. Ruggles, he took him in and that was good because he could finally be free and be happy. During this story they also said that his wife Anna also got to be free and now they can be happy together in New York. Towards the end of this chapter it said that he was a anti slavery speaker and could tell his story to people around the world. I thought that was good to hear that he could tell his story and speak his mind.

I think its good that you know what is going on in the story but i think you should also put more or your feelings into your response. If your sayin you feel happy, express it, say why it makes you happy.
ReplyDeleteI really liked how you wnet to the main points. I did like how Freddy became free and got married. I also thought that being a speaker against slavery was a good thing since he was treated so horribly. Overall, I did like what you said and agreed with everything that you said.

Alyssa, you did a really good job of summarizing the chapter, and still saying how you feel about each main point. Although it was a bit short, you got right to the point and I don't feel it was lacking any information! Good job :)
